Problem:

In Latin America, only 52% (38.986.730) of young people between 18 and 24 years old have access to university education, but of this group, 57.7% (22.417.369) drop out due to individual, academic, economic, institutional and cultural obstacles, which are closely associated with the lack of articulation between higher education institutions (universities, institutes), which creates rigid curricula due to the complexity of validating subjects between careers and universities.

Idea:

STUDYn democratizes access to university education by articulating it through a multilateral platform that uses artificial intelligence to recognize common learning objectives between courses at different universities and creates a marketplace where students choose which courses to take and at which universities, creating flexible curricula in collaboration with various higher education institutions to facilitate student mobility that provides the flexibility needed to increase graduation rates.

Main Beneficiaries:

We seek to reach 48% (35.987.750) of young people between the ages of 18 and 24 yeas old who cannot access higher education, and we also seek to ensure young to complete their studies, especially that 57.5% (22.417.369) who are currently dropping out of school for vocational or economic reasons, we aim to let them make changes in their studies, either institution or discipline, but due to the lack of reference or limited access to a good source of information and the delays and difficulties in recognizing their previous studies at others institutions, end of dropping their studies Our main focus is the Latin American youth in a vulnerable socioeconomic situation who have less access to information about study alternatives; many of them are the first generation that could go to college, but they are also highly digitized users with very good handling of electronic devices, this enables us to deliver this solution through digital platforms, which facilitate the scalability of the solution and at the same time the massification at a lower cost.
