DOE Latam

Problem:

There is a lack of information related to student life that doesn't permit to generate an international community. Also, leaders need more support and tools to expand their impact. Universities always try to solve these without a student-focused view. This finishes with websites without traffic and a loss of valuable financial resources.

Idea:

DOE Latam is an international student organization building the first web platform for student life with a high social impact in Latin America and the Caribbean. We will unify the information on every aspect of student life, generate an international community and support the professionalization of leaders and organizations. With an international interdisciplinary team, we will change how student life is in Latin America and the Caribbean, creating the most extensive student network worldwide.

Main Beneficiaries:

Our three principal beneficiaries are students, organizations, and universities. There are almost 4K higher education institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. That translates into more than 100K organizations. Students will have access to a lot of information (events, admissions, internships, entrepreneurship, opportunities) and special events (national and international). Organizations will get an international impact, and a lot of tools (design teams, software licenses, logistic and networking support, and many others). Universities will be our clients and will receive a lot of technological solutions, premium features, mapping of entire information, and support for their organizations and students. We will be able to multiplicate the impact of every student leader in Latin America and the Caribbean.
