Problem:

The problems that we detected are the emission of toxic gas from animal manure that is totally wasted, reaching the atmosphere and damaging it. In addition, this gas generates undesirable odors and affects the field staff as well as the surrounding cities, causing nausea, dizziness, asthma, pneumonia, and eye diseases.

Idea:

The solution that we propose to the problem is to introduce the excrement into the biodigesters (a biodigester is a hermetically closed reactor). Inside, a fermentation process is carried out, which the biodegradable material generates methane gas, which can be used to generate thermal energy usable for heating. This type of technology has great potential for caring for the environment since it reduces the amount of waste dumped into ecosystems and also produces a relatively clean energy.

Main Beneficiaries:

The main beneficiaries are: -workers in the field, reducing the chances of illnesses -population of neighboring cities, preventing the undesirable smell from spreading -owner of the biodigester, using thermal energy produced by the biodigester -farmers who take advantage of the biodigester residues to use them as fertilizers We estimate a total of 10.000 to 100.000 beneficiaries including the mainly beneficiaries (owner of the biodigester and the farmers) and secondary beneficiaries (workers in the field and the population of neighboring cities).
