Problem:

Access to clean, potable water is a fundamental human right, yet millions of people worldwide lack reliable access to this essential resource and face significant challenges in obtaining safe drinking water, leading to health risks, economic hardship, and social inequality. Our goal is to address the pervasive issue of water scarcity, particularly in regions like Nuevo León, Mexico, by providing an innovative and sustainable solution that ensures access to clean water for all.

Idea:

We've developed a revolutionary machine that utilizes cacti's natural ability to absorb moisture, combined with solar energy, to produce clean, potable water. This innovative solution addresses the pervasive problem of water scarcity, particularly in regions like Nuevo León, Mexico, where access to safe drinking water is limited.

Main Beneficiaries:

Our solution targets communities in Nuevo León, Mexico, facing acute water scarcity, estimated to impact hundreds of thousands. These include marginalized urban neighborhoods and rural areas where access to clean water is limited, affecting health, livelihoods, and overall well-being.
