Problem:

Peru is a megadiverse country that mostly ignores its natural resources. We own much knowledge of traditional medicine but lack of ways to spread this information to population. There is a great deal of misinformation, including some fake news about some misunderstood uses and benefits of Peruvian plants. Besides, the biodiversity of flora in our country and Latin America in general is being destroyed by pollution and , as a consequence , our historical traditional medicine is being wasted.

Idea:

Our solution is to make a website and forum as a tool for people to reach more easily information about Peruvian traditional medicine. Using classical-trusted books about the topic and papers made by Peruvians, as a way to encourage the scientific research in our country. The objective is to make known to the world about our biodiversity and the benefits related such as traditional medicine. To reach this idea, we are hoping to collaborate with the National School of Public Health (ENSAP).

Main Beneficiaries:

Peruvians ( 25.05 million people with internet access) , latinoamericans and foreign countries (as an expectation in final stage)
