KUSKA e-Health

Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia

Problem:

The KUSKA e-Health project seeks to effectively respond to the problem of low adherence to treatment in patients with chronic diseases in primary care centers, especially in countries with health systems with a low budget to implement expensive technologies, making KUSKA system and KUSKA band a viable and profitable implementation alternative.

Idea:

The KUSKA e-Health project is made up of the KUSKA system and the KUSKA smartband, acting on 2 fronts at the same time: 1. From the side of the patients: Helping them to raise awareness of the disease and keep track of medication intake and problems with their therapy. 2. From the side of the health personnel, helping them to graphically visualize adherence curves and identify problems that affect therapy for each patient individually.

Main Beneficiaries:

The main beneficiaries would be patients with chronic diseases, especially those who take medication in pills or injections daily and in whom adherence to treatment may be compromised according to internal and external factors. KUSKA project seeks to expand as a pioneer in Latin America in the development of medical software that works through a sales model of licenses and subscriptions to its applications to public and private health systems in different countries in the world. In this sense, KUSKA project has a focus of expansion to millions of people.
