We found that 17% of people in Quito live alone, and 9 out of 10 struggle with the challenge. Additionally, the pandemic led to a significant problem, as 56.6% of domestic workers lost their jobs. Consequently, individuals transitioning into independence frequently encounter difficulties managing household tasks, including coordinating cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry. It is from

Idea:

Our objective is to enhance working conditions in Ecuador in a dignified manner through a mobile application. Simultaneously, we aim to alleviate the stress and loneliness often linked with independence. Our information redistribution platform facilitates connections between job seekers and those encountering such challenges. As a result, it generates employment opportunities while offering a quick and effective solution for individuals living alone

Main Beneficiaries:

At Ya2, our primary focus is on individuals who live alone, those who are experiencing independence for the first time, or simply require assistance in their daily household activities. This audience encompasses a wide range of profiles, including people from outside the region, students living away from home, young adults, teenagers, and others. Additionally, we cater to those seeking extra income, in need of quick employment, or looking to make this their primary source of income. In this way, we promote employment and offer job opportunities.
