Problem:

Lack of healthy and accessible fast food, gluten-free, and veggie-friendly offerings. This problem of lack of healthy food offerings affects people across all demographics. Fast food is typically fried and processed, while not many healthy or veggie-friendly meals are offered, leaving individuals with limited options when on the go.

Idea:

A local cassava(yuca)-based pizza venture in our community to provide healthy, gluten-free, and veggie-friendly fast food options at affordable prices. In this way, products are offered with information on the nutrients contained in each food, seeking to promote healthy eating for the inhabitants of northern Quito, improving their eating habits through access to healthy and nutritious food.

Main Beneficiaries:

Inhabitants of the north of Quito between 18 and 25 years of age, who are physically active and are concerned with a healthier lifestyle. This represents roughly 15-20 thousand people.
