Problem:

In Peru, mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and stress are critically high, impacting especially women and youth. In 2023, over 280,000 depression cases were treated by the Ministry of Health, with women and young people most affected. Severe depression accounts for 80% of suicide cases. By 2024, anxiety diagnoses surpassed 182,000, underscoring the urgent demand for accessible and effective mental health resources and support.

Idea:

MeloMood is an AI-driven sound therapy app that crafts personalized playlists of therapeutic melodies and sounds, based on your musical tastes and emotional state. This app aims to alleviate insomnia, anxiety, and stress. Users input personal data, musical preferences, and mood, after which MeloMood suggests music to uplift your spirits. The app also includes a time control feature and an emotional calendar for tailored, easy use. Perfect for finding your unique style through sound therapy.

Main Beneficiaries:

The beneficiaries of MeloMood will primarily be people between the ages of 10 and 39, covering a demographic often facing high levels of stress, anxiety, and insomnia. We aim to reach an initial audience of 50,000 users in the first year of operation, providing a personalized sound therapy tool. This approach seeks to offer accessible and tailored support for individuals looking to enhance their emotional and mental well-being in daily life.
