Problem:
Emotional intelligence in children and adolescents is crucial for healthy development. Many children have difficulty recognizing, expressing and modulating their emotions, which can later affect their behavior, have low self-esteem and even affect their academic performance. For adults (parents, teachers, health professionals) there are limited tools to understand and support the emotional state of children, so their early intervention becomes scarce.
Idea:
The app, along with AI analysis through voice and image recognition, will recognize emotional patterns in children and adolescents, allowing parents, teachers or health professionals to get a suggestion of the child's emotional state.
Main Beneficiaries:
This tool is valuable for staff working in early childhood education and care, as it could identify emotional patterns that are likely to be influencing school performance or behavior. In terms of scope, the application could benefit millions of children and families around the world, as emotional intelligence is a universal and necessary skill in many cultures.
