Problem:
The main issue is the excess and accumulation of agrochemical containers, made out of plastic, which are used in agriculture and contaminate. Another problem we are aware of is the lack of beds in private and public hospitals in the region due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Idea:
We aim to mitigate the contaminating effects of agriculture, avoiding unnecessary contamination and reusing the canisters containing agrochemicals once again. Through a recycling process we would transform the containers into beds for medical institutions.
Main Beneficiaries:
The health system, and therefore the local population since the health system would be relieved and the chance of it being saturated would decrease. Also the agricultural producers would see a decline in the contamination of their lands. Our aim is to help ten thousand people in our region.
